Here's a video I filmed on Tuesday (May 16) of the 2007 AT&T Classic in Atlanta. In it, Brian Gay is working with Mizuno technicians to determine which of the two new Titleist golf balls -- the Pro V1 and V1X -- work best for him. Enjoy all 18:32 minutes...straight from the PGA TOUR!

A quick glimpse behind the scene at a PGA Tour stop. I was fortunate to go through a similar process with Titleist for both Driver and ball and would recommend it anyone who has the opportunity. Spin rate is key as is the launch angle. It can make a big difference to the player, at least substantiate from a quantitative standpoint what is going on at impact. But dom't discount the feel issue. It is just as important as looking at the numbers.

I noticed that you mention in the video that Brian is working with an adjusted address hands position rather than impact hands....is he now doing this in tournament play or is it still a work in progress. Was also wondering what initiated the change if you can share that with us.
